Scaling Up The Subtle

Watercolor Artist Magazine did a feature article on my watercolor paintings! I received my advance copy yesterday! I am very happy with the quality of the writing and the layout. They did a superb job! 

I am grateful to Anne Hevener, Editor-In-Chief, and to Ani Kodjabasheva who wrote the article. There are several references to the area that I am from which is Detroit. Here in the USA it will be at newsstands after July 28th Fall Issue. It will be available after that date through "Artists Network". International Artist Magazine Challenge

I participated in International Artist Magazine Floral and Gardens Challenge and became a finalist!

My painting "Peony" was the one accepted.  You can view it in the June/July 2016 109 issue. Thanks IA for the exposure!

"Wisteria" made it into the 2015 National Watercolor Society Show!

Just found out that my "Wisteria" painting made it into the NWS show this year.  Very Happy!

Latest News Bulletin! Made it into International Artist Magazine!

I just received word that my painting "Going Green" is going to be published in International Artist Magazine April/May issue. It is part of their flowers and Gardens competition. Now I have to get busy and write some info about the painting i.e. inspiration.

Progression

Before I go off to the TWSA show in Kenosha, I wanted to post my progress on the "Going Green" painting. I'm starting to develop my dark green in the background and layering in the seeded eucalyptus.
